How I Discovered the Body's Incredible Capacity to Heal
The Breaking Point
In 2007, I was a shell of who I'm meant to be. Chronic constipation—worsened by years of drug overuse that had completely disrupted my digestive system—relentless bloating, parasites, candida overgrowth, wild mood swings, irregular cycles, and a relationship with food that was anything but nourishing. But the physical symptoms were just the surface—underneath was a decade of trauma, depression, and complete disconnection from my body.
I didn't recognize the woman staring back at me in the mirror. I didn't like her, and honestly, I wasn't sure if this broken version was who I really was or if there was another path waiting for me.
In 2007, my journey began with the challenges of chronic constipation, bloating, parasites, candida overgrowth, mood swings, trauma, stress, PMS, irregular cycles, and disordered eating.
IT WAS A LOT.
The Transformation
What I discovered through my healing journey—and what I've since witnessed in hundreds of women—is that our bodies are not broken. They're speaking to us, waiting for us to listen. Every symptom, every struggle, every moment of dis-ease is information, not a life sentence. Even damage that feels permanent can often be healed with the right approach and patience.
I don't hold shame or judgment about my past. I believe I was meant to experience every single ailment that caused me to suffer so deeply, because it's given me the ability to sit with every frustrated and pained woman who walks into my practice and say, "I see you. I've been there. And there is another way."
The Mission
My expertise now lies at the intersection of natural medicine and cutting-edge science, where I've discovered that true healing emerges when we align with our body's innate wisdom. I view wellness as an artful practice—one that weaves together biological intelligence with the raw power of nature.
Each person's story and body speaks its own unique language. I listen deeply to these narratives—both spoken and unspoken—creating space for your individual healing journey to unfold. By honoring your body's distinct rhythms and requirements, we craft a path that resonates with your personal truth.
The Awakening
Desperation became my greatest teacher. When conventional approaches left me feeling more lost than ever, I turned to self-help books and began experimenting with nutrition and herbalism. There were glimpses of hope—moments where I felt more like myself—but the chronic symptoms persisted, especially the digestive issues that seemed permanently damaged from my past choices. My body was still speaking a language I couldn't fully understand.
In 2014, I made the decision that changed everything: I got formally trained in holistic nutrition. Not just to heal myself, but to decode the intricate relationship between our bodies, our food, and our wellbeing—even when that body has been through significant trauma.
