THE STRUGGLE

Understanding your hormonal body can be totally overwhelming.

One week you feel alive and confident and the following week you feel burnt out, irritable, and inflamed. Then your PMS comes along, and you’re in more pain, dealing with cramps, headaches, exhaustion, cravings, and sadness. It just feels like you’re constantly off-balance.

You’re trying your best by picking up information here and there but you’re not sure if anything is working for you, and it’s getting costly.

The doctors tell you to get on birth control and anti-depressants but you just know there’s a better way. You hear there are natural ways that can help, but you don’t know where to start or if it’ll work for you.

But ready for answers because you’re frustrated, sad, and struggling to understand your body. You want to be seen and heard and you want to try to make sense of it all.

Life can get real busy, and you worry you won’t be able to “stick to it” because time is moving faster than ever these days, but you’re ready to give it a go.

What if you could heal your body, find your own balance, and have the whole process be easeful and delicious?

LET ME HELP

Hi, I’m Lyssandra.

I used to suffer from severe PMS and lost my period due to hormonal imbalances caused by excessive stress. I was so exhausted and weighed down, yet I pushed through by using stimulants. I craved sugar, overindulged, and my body paid for it. I was very moody and felt very disconnected to myself.

I’m now a Holistic Nutritionist and Wellness Advisor who has helped hundreds of women improve their lives by helping them understand and heal their body with food as medicine and practices and healgetting rid of PMS, regulating their cycles, healing their bodies holistically with food and lifestyle changes that cultivate resilience across mind, body, and spirit, laying a foundation for long-term well-being and vitality.

Client Story #1

Jen’s Story

I didn’t believe there was a solution to support my awful periods. I had horrible cramping, tender breasts, extra fatigue, migraines, a ton of bloat and really heavy periods. My doctor said my hormones were normal so I didn’t think there could be anything to help me. I did not expect how working with you would change all that.

I almost immediately had results. Within my first cycle I didn’t have a migraine or tender breasts. It’s been 3 -4 cycles since we started and I just had a period that was this past weekend (while on vacation!) and no tender breasts and minimal minimal cramping.

I no longer have the mental dread of here we go, my period is coming and I'm going to have to take a day off work. I’m much less stressed and anxious around my periods and they don’t consume me as much as they used to. I’m more hopefully going into perimenopause that I’ll be able to aid myself.

And my relationship to food has improved! I’m much more conscious of what I'm eating and putting in my body and how it will affect my body, which I never put too much thought into it before.

Dea’s Story

I went to the doctor to talk about PMDD and they tried putting me on medication that had a list of side effects. I left feeling so discouraged, crappy, and unheard. Then I saw you and I immediately felt empowered and saw the light at the end of the tunnel.

High stress was impacting my body bad. Your simple reminders seemed so simple yet helped tremendously. Food and supplement changes have been transformative. Besides food, the way you helped me approach stress and to work on what I enjoy everyday with things that bring me joy that aren’t work related. Things I know but I forget easily. That reminder helped shift things a lot. You’ve helped so much with scheduling, mindfulness, on top of telling me which foods to help with my issues! And now I don’t feel like my only choice is to get on medication PMDD.

It's not just about getting by, but about feeling your absolute best every day of the month and knowing what’s going on in your body. With some simple tweaks to your diet and lifestyle, we can work together to help you feel more balanced and comfortable, even during that time of the month.

You may wonder if it will take a long time to feel good, given that you haven't felt this way in quite some time.

FAQ’s

  • Yes! Hormonal birth control alters your natural hormone levels, which means you’re not experiencing the typical four phases of your menstrual cycle. However, cycle syncing can be highly beneficial, especially if you decide to transition off birth control in the future. It can ease this transition and support your body in reestablishing its natural rhythm. Addressing the underlying causes of hormonal imbalances sooner rather than later is crucial, as delaying this can lead to more severe symptoms and make them harder to manage effectively.

  • Absolutely. Once you understand how your body is changing or reacting in different phases of your cycle, you will learn to eat the right foods for the right phase to help keep your symptoms in check, while eating healthily overall to improve your hormonal body.

  • Yes, make sure to inform me and consult with your healthcare provider so you can manage these interactions safely and effectively.

  • Consider setting aside 1-3 hours a week to watch the lessons, meal prep and cook. However, this is a no-stress course, and meant to be self-paced. Remember, like any health program, the more you put into it, the more you'll get out of it.
